BP Chief Executive Bernard Looney has expressed dissatisfaction with the returns on some of the oil giant's renewables investments, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the discussion. According to information provided to the newspaper, Looney would plan a less pretentious green energy strategy. In addition, he has told some people that BP needs to do more to convince shareholders of its strategy to maximize gains in areas with competitive benefits, including its legacy oil and gas operations.
